Mansfield 103.2 is the local commercial radio station that covers the North Notts area, which mainly comprises of Mansfield, Ashfield and Bolsover.
It was launched in February 1999 and unlike so many of its contemporaries has always remained totally independent.
The radio station is available on FM on 103.2, thus the name. It can also be found on smart speakers, online and on a free app for smart phones and tablets.
The music policy is from mainly the 80’s to the current charts, but songs from the 70’s and even the 60’s can be heard from time to time.
It has always been a massive part of the local community and over many years has enjoyed a good RAJAR, the independent organisation that measures radio listening in the UK and Ireland.
News and Sport are a big part of the output, and the radio station is famous for providing live broadcasts of events such as Elections Specials, Charity Auctions and even Christmas Services from the local Church.
It remains a unique local commercial radio station that bucks the usual trend.
